When playing test games and competitions, the player programs are executed on the CodeCup SuperCluster™. The cluster is controlled by our Advanced Cluster Management Software running on Linux.

The cluster is built from former state-of-the-art components:

    • 64 MB RAM
    • 1.6 GB IDE harddisk
    • AMD 79c970 PCI network card
  • 10 Mbit Ethernet repeater
  • 2 battery backed power supplies, dangerously hooked up to a daisy-chain of power extension cords
