CodeCup 2004

Introduction

The CodeCup is a competition in which computer programs play games against each other. People all around the world can participate by writing their own computer program. Everybody is allowed to participate in the CodeCup; there are no age restrictions or special requirements.

This year's competition is about the game Lucky Words. You will find a description of this game in the rules section.

The official LuckyWords competition has been played on January 15th 2004. You can go directly to the final ranking of the programs.
The winner of the CodeCup 2004 is Emil Kraaikamp with his program dynprog2vb. He has written a brief description of his program to explain how it works and why it plays so strong.

There is a page with some information about our CodeCup cluster and the current status of the nodes.

The CodeCup is organized by the Dutch National Olympiad in Informatics.
